Xiaomi has launched a 5G version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone in China. Even though the phone has a name similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro launched in global markets earlier this year, it has a different processor and physical design. The two phones are easily distinguishable if kept side-by-side from the backside.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and a centered punch-hole. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 450 nits, and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. Under the hood, it features the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. The onboard storage options include 128GB and 256GB.
The triple rear camera setup is headlined by a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. The other two cameras include an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The phone runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. Other noteworthy features include Bluetooth v5.2, WiFi 6, NFC support, USB Type-C port, dual-speakers fine-tuned by JBL, IP53 rating, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G pricing:
- 6GB/128GB for CNY 1,599
- 8GB/128GB for CNY 1,799
- 8GB/256GB for CNY 1,999
Xiaomi will start selling the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G from June 1st but is up for pre-orders. It will be available in Magic Green, Star Yarn, and Moon Soul color options.
