Poco is all set to announce its newest F-series smartphone for Indian users. Anuj Sharma, Poco India's Country Director, tweeted that Poco F3 GT is the next smartphone that will launch in India. The tweet accompanied a short teaser video revealing the processor and estimated release timeline.
The Poco F3 GT India launch is set for Q3 2021 i.e. between July and September. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. Sharma teased the phone's imminent launch as "Locked and loaded, finger on the triggers". This suggests that the phone will focus on mobile gamers and strengthens previous claims about Poco F3 GT being a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.

If we go by rumors of it being a rebranded device, the upcoming Poco F3 GT should have identical specifications and features. It means there should be a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be multiple configuration options featuring up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
The triple rear camera setup should have a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The selfie camera on the phone will be a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. There will be a 5,065mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. These are speculations at the moment but we can expect more concrete details to emerge in the near future.
