Microsoft Your Phone’s ability to run multiple Android apps together rolls out to more devices

31 May 2021 0

Back in February this year, Microsoft’s Your Phone app received an update that made it capable to run multiple Android apps simultaneously on Windows 10 desktop. In case you're unaware, the Your Phone app bridges the gap between the Android mobile OS and Microsoft’s Windows 10.
The app simply allows Android owners to operate their favorite Android apps directly from their desktops. With the help of this app, users can interact with their Android apps just as they would on their mobile phones. They can see their notifications on their desktops, reply to text messages from their PCs, and so on.
]Thanks to a big update it received earlier this year, it became possible for select Android phone owners to even run multiple apps simultaneously. Apart, from this, the Your Phone app even allows you to pin the apps in the taskbar, just like regular desktop apps for quick access.

The feature was originally announced in August last year and later on rolled out for more and more Android devices, well particularly for Samsung devices.

Your Phone app is currently compatible with so many Samsung devices and allowing them to link their phones with Windows PCs. And now, this list has been expanded even further.

Microsoft has added new phones to this list. The newly added phones are Samsung Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Note 10-series, and Galaxy S20.

To start experiencing it, you have to grab the latest version of the Your Phone app. Also, your PC must run Windows 10 May 2020 Update or later. One more requirement is, your compatible Android device and PC need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
