Vivo has launched a new budget-friendly mid-range smartphone Vivo Y73 in India. It is part of the Vivo Y-series that has proved to be quite successful for the company. The main highlight of the phone includes a MediaTek processor, a triple rear camera setup, and a decent enough battery size.
The Vivo Y73 sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a dew-drop notch. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G95 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It is available with a 128GB storage option with support for microSD cards. The phone has been launched only in one configuration variant.
The triple camera setup on the phone includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and housed within the notch.
The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It will ship with FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11 as the operating system. The phone has dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivo Y73 is priced at INR 20,990 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant.
