Microsoft turns Xbox Series X mini-fridge into reality, sales later this year

14 June 2021 0

At the E3 2021, Microsoft made an unexpected announcement toward the end. It showcased an actual Xbox Series X Mini Fridge inspired by all those memes about the console's appearance. The memes started to surface last year as soon as the console was unveiled. This is actually the second product by the company

The first one was a full-size refrigerator that the team revealed last year. It made only a small number of units of the fridge that were distributed to select celebrities. One of the units was also made available to the general public through a giveaway. The good thing is that the Xbox Series X mini fridge will be sold to everyone starting later this year.

Microsoft is touting the product as "the world's most powerful mini-fridge". It even shared a reference to the Xbox Velocity Architecture by mentioning "Xbox Velocity Cooling Architecture". It was used in the promotional video as a way to highlight the cooling capabilities of the mini-fridge.

The video ended by revealing the possible release timeline to be around Holidays 2021. Microsoft has not shared Xbox Series X Mini Fridge pricing details yet but we should know that as we will get closer to the launch.
