The Honor 50 series has been announced at an event in China. There are three models named Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, and Honor 50 SE. The three phones are very special ones for Honor as these come with Google apps and services support, it is the first time we are seeing Honor phones with GMS support.
The Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro are the main stars of the lineup. These are packed with the same specifications and features except for a few differences. The two phones have 6.57-inch and 6.72-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate respectively. There is a 300Hz touch sampling rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage but the Pro version also has 10-bit color depth support.
Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor coupled with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. The Pro version has a single 256GB storage but the standard Honor 50 is available in 128GB and 256GB options. The quad rear camera setup is exactly the same on both phones. There is a 100-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Honor 50 Pro features a dual selfie camera setup including a 32-megapixel sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor. As for the standard variant, it has a single 32-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity on the two phones is 4,000mAh and 4,300mAh respectively with 100W fast charging. Both devices will ship with Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11.
If interested, you will be able to buy the Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 for CNY 3,699 (about $422) and CNY 2,699 (about $578) respectively. These prices are for the base model. The pre-orders will begin June 25th in China and even though the company has plans for a global release, it has not mentioned any date.
The Honor 50 SE is the most affordable offering in the lineup. Here is everything that it has to offer:

The Honor 50 SE starts at CNY 2,399 (about $375) with sales beginning July 2nd in China.
