After a long wait and anticipation, Krafton has finally released Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) beta version for Android users in India. It is a battle royale game released exclusively for the Indian market. The game is meant to replace PUBG Mobile that was banned by the authorities last year.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Android beta is available only for a select number of users. The available number of slots is currently full but more slots will open gradually. It is available through the Google Play Store and can be accessed by visiting this dedicated link. If the link does not load open for you or the slots are full, it is advised that you stay patient and try again in some time.
Krafton says all the purchases and game progress made during the early access phase will transfer to the main version, as and when it is released. All beta testers will be allowed to migrate their game data from PUBG Mobile to the Indian version but it is up to the user. If someone wishes to proceed with a new account, it is also possible.
The differences between BGMI and PUBG Mobile are quite minimal as the two games are based on the same source code. BGMI shows Green-colored blood instead of Red. It offers a lot of warnings related to game safety and encourages users to take breaks in between gaming sessions. You can check out a glimpse of the gameplay footage below.
