OnePlus Nord CE 5G phone that went official in India last week has received its first software update. It is the OxygenOS 11.0.2.2 update that brings the May 2021 Android security patch alongside a series of improvements across the System and Camera.
OnePlus hasn’t officially announced the update on its community forum, but several Nord CE 5G owners in the country have revealed that they have received the update.
According to the changelog, the latest OxygenOS 11.0.2.2 update improves the accuracy of screen color and also fixes known issues and improved stability. In terms of the camera improvements, the update improves the portrait photography of the front camera. It also improves the white balance consistency of the rear camera for better imaging uniformity. The size of the update is 172MB.

Reportedly, the Nord CE 5G has also received the second system update as well. The build number is OxygenOS 11.0.3.3 and it further brings improvements to the camera. As per the changelog, the update improves the HDR shooting experience, improves the shooting effect of the nightscape, and optimizes the fluency of 1080p 60fps.
As per several reports, the update has been rolled out to a large number of users. But if it still hasn’t reached you yet, you can check for it manually. So, follow this route Settings > System> System Updates in order to check for updates manually. If the update has arrived under the System Updates, it is probably waiting for you to take action.
