Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi 11 Lite at a virtual event in India. It is an affordable variant of the Mi 11 series and is quite different from the one unveiled in China about three months ago. The major difference is in the processor choice as the Indian version supports only 4G LTE connectivity. However, a 5G could arrive if there is enough demand for that.
The Mi 11 Lite sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display. The panel supports a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 800 nits or brightness, 10-bit color depth, HDR10, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor with Adreno 618 GPU.
There are two configuration options: 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB storage. It features a triple rear camera setup including a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel telemacro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.
The phone is packed with a 4,250mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It features a USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, and dual speakers. It will be booting MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box. Xiaomi has priced the Mi 11 Lite at INR 21,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and at INR 23,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. It will be sold in Jazz Blue, Vinyl Black, and Tuscany Coral color variants.
