Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone Vivo V21e 5G in India. It joins the previously released Vivo V21 5G that made its way to the Indian market about two months ago. The phone is packed with MediaTek 5G chipset, dual rear cameras, and support for fast charging to help you worry less about battery levels.
The Vivo V21e 5G sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a dot-like notch. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with support for 5G connectivity. It is available with a single configuration of 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of onboard storage (microSD cards support up to 1TB).
On the back panel, it has a dual rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor f/2.2 aperture. The front camera housed within the notch is a 32-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 4,000mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is supported by a 44W fast charging speed claimed to charge from 0% to 72% in just 30 minutes.
The phone will boot Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner, 5G support, USB Type-C port, and GPS. The Vivo V21e 5G is priced at INR 24,990 (about $336) for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. It will be sold in Pearl and Sunset Jazz color options.
