After revealing the codenames of Motorola's upcoming phones, the known tipster Evan Blass is now presenting the specifications of at least one of those phones. He has shared a specifications table that comprises four models of a phone and this phone is believed to be the Motorola Edge 20.
The marketing names of these various models are unknown, however. According to a specifications table shared by the tipster, these are four various models of the second-gen Motorola Edge family. The tipster addresses them with their codenames and region availability.
There is one model for Berlin North America, which will be sold by Verizon carrier partner. It features a 6.78-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 778G processor, 6GB RAM, 256G storage. It has a 108MP primary wide-angle sensor, followed by an 8MP macro sensor + a 2MP depth sensor. It is expected to come with a 32MP front-facing sensor, 5000mAh battery, and run Android 11.
On the other hand, the global Berlin model has a slightly smaller display with a 6.67-inch display, 4000mAh battery. It also features 108MP primary sensor but the macro lens is 16MP and an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3X zoom. The rest of the specifications is the same. Both the models support120Hz refresh rate as well.
The tablet mentions one more device addressed by its codename “Kyoto,” which is according to tipsters’ previous tweet is Edge 20 Lite Phone. This phone is said to be coming to India. It has toned-down specifications, with MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, 6/8GB RAM, 128GB onboard storage. The screen size is unknown but the resolution is tipped to be 1080x2400 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup is similar to the Berlin NA version, with the battery.
The phone with the codename "PStar" appears to be the premium among all. It is powered by Snapdragon 870 processor. It shares the rest of the specifications with the global version of Berlin. One small addition, however, is the 12GB RAM, which makes the device beefiest. Also, the telephoto lens goes up to 5x lossless zoom. It gets a 4,500mAH battery as well.
As per the specs chart shared by the known tipster, the PStar has an under-display fingerprint sensor. This suggests that the device has an OLED panel, compared to the LCD panel on other models mentioned above. It is currently unknown when these devices will get launched.
