UPDATE (July 21st, 2021):
Samsung has officially confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will indeed happen on August 11th. It will be a virtual event that will be broadcast live online including Samsung's own website. The tagline for the event is "Get ready to unfold" which is a direct hint at new foldable devices launch i.e. Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. We can surely expect to see a few more product announcements as well but foldables will be the star of the show.

Samsung's much-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event is now tipped to happen on August 11th. The report is coming from Digital Daily, a South Korean publication, citing a Samsung Electronics official. It not only mentions the alleged event date but also lists the kick-off time as 10 AM Eastern time/11 PM Korean time.
It will be a virtual event due to the global pandemic, as we have seen with all major launches so far. The event will be streamed live on YouTube as well as on Samsung's different platforms. It will be the stage for the unveiling of Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Active, and Galaxy Buds 2.
The newly reported date is different from the one mentioned in previous reports. It was claimed to be August 3rd by different sources but now, it seems like the second week of August is the time for the event. Nevertheless, there is still at least a month to go before the event takes place. We can expect to come across more rumors and leaks in the meantime.
One reason to believe August 11 could be the actual launch date is the recently leaked Galaxy Z Flip 3 renders. These renders showed the foldable from different angles and different colors. One of the renders shows the foldable with time and date notification where the latter is mentioned as August 11th. If there are any new revelations about the date or an official announcement, we will keep you in the loop.
