Samsung India has launched a new mid-range smartphone named Galaxy F22 today. The phone packs a high refresh rate display panel, quad rear cameras, and a huge battery capacity. It is essentially a rebranded Galaxy A22 that was announced in Europe last month.
The Galaxy F22 sports a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a dew-drop notch. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G80 processor. There are two configuration variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both variants support microSD card support for storage expansion.
The back panel has a quad-camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 13-megapixel sensor. The whole package is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It will ship with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 as the software experience.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy F22 at INR 12,499 for the 4GB/64GB model and at INR 14,499 for the 6GB/128GB model. It has been released in Denim Black and Denim Blue color options. It will go on sale starting July 13th via Flipkart, Samsung's online store, and various offline stores.
