Honor has announced that it is holding a global press conference on August 12. The details of the launch event are unknown but it is suspected that the company will bring the much-rumored Magic 3 smartphone.
While the new Magic lineup has long been into rumors already, Honor’s CEO publicized it even further by making a bold claim that the upcoming Honor Magic smartphone will be better than Huawei Mate and P-series devices. It should be noted that both the compared phones are actually the high-end flagship phones from Huawei which are known for their powerful performance and camera prowess. So, keeping a smartphone against these phones is a task itself and Honor is even claiming to offer better performance.
Honor Magic 3 is confirmed to launch with the latest Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. The newest chipset features some improvements over the Snapdragon 888 model. According to some previous rumors, there are going to be two Honor Magic phones.
It is also very possible that Honor might finally introduce its first foldable smartphone on August 12 as well. There is not much known about the speculated device but reports say it might be called by the name ‘Honor Magic Fold.’ Last month some registered trademarks in China were spotted by their names of ‘Honor Magic Fold,’ ‘Honor Magic Flip,’ and ‘Honor Magic Flex,’ clearly suggesting what’s coming in the near future.
The details on all these suspected phones are unknown but if they are launching next month and it is possible to hear more about them in the coming days.
