The rumors of Apple lining up the third-gen iPhone SE launch next year have surfaced once again. As per Digitimes, the iPhone SE 3 with 5G connectivity will arrive during the first half of 2022. This is in line with some of the previous rumors that we have come across in recent times.
The next-gen iPhone SE is said to have a product design similar to the one released in 2016. There will be a 4.7-inch display with thicker bezels on the top and bottom. Apple will most likely continue using the Touch ID biometric authentication method, even though modern and premium iPhone models have moved to facial recognition.
The biggest difference between the iPhone SE (2016) and the upcoming iPhone SE would be the 5G network support. It is even claimed to be the most affordable 5G iPhone yet by Ming-Chi Kuo. We know that the currently available iPhone SE was launched at $399 for the base model. It means it could actually be the cheapest iPhone with 5G connectivity.
If you are hoping for an iPhone SE model without a Touch ID, you will have to wait longer. All other details about the iPhone SE 3 5G are unknown for now. We will keep you updated as more details will emerge in the future.
