Oppo Reno 6Z 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC goes official

Oppo has silently launched the Reno 6Z 5G as the successor to the Oppo Reno 5Z 5G. The phone gets a hole punch cut out on the top-left corner of its display. On the back, the device gets a triple rear camera setup. The phone is offered in two colors variants, while there is only one model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Oppo Reno 6Z 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. The processor went official last year in August. It is meant to power 5G mid-range phones. It bears two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores out of the eight cores in total. The processor gets coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone runs ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11.

The Oppo Reno 6Z features an in-display fingerprint scanner and has a Face Unlock feature as well. The 4,31mAh battery packed inside the phone supports 30W fast charging.

The price of the Oppo Reno 6Z 5G is THB 12,990 ($395) for the sole 8GB+128GB storage model. It comes in Aurora and Stellar Black color options. It is available for purchase in Thailand.
