Realme GT Master Explorer, Master Edition now official in China

After a number of leaks and rumors, the Realme GT Master series is finally official in China. The lineup has two phones named Realme GT Master Explorer Edition and Realme GT Master Edition. The new phones are designed by Naoto Fukasawa, a well-known Japanese industrial designer. These feature a leather back panel with a design inspired by the suitcase.

Realme GT Master Explorer Edition

The Realme GT Master Explorer Edition sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. The storage options include 128GB and 256GB.

The back panel has triple rear cameras featuring a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766 sensor, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a macro shooter. The punch-hole selfie camera on the phone is a 32-megapixel shooter. The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. It will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

As for pricing, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition is priced at CNY 2,899 (about $448) for the 8GB/128GB variant and at CNY 3,199 (about $495) for the 12GB/256GB variant. It will be available in Suitcase Apricot and Suitcase Grey color options.

Realme GT Master Edition

The Realme GT Master Edition sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The storage options include 128GB and 256GB.

The back panel has triple rear cameras featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The punch-hole selfie camera on the phone is a 32-megapixel shooter. The whole package is powered by a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. It will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

As for pricing, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition is priced at CNY 2,399 (about $371) for the 8GB/128GB variant and at CNY 2,599 (about $402) for the 8GB/256GB variant. It will be available in Snow Mountain and Dawn color options.
