Samsung's newest 5G smartphone in the Indian market is the Galaxy A22 5G. It is the same phone that was released last month globally. The phone comes with triple rear cameras and a MediaTek Dimensity processor.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ TFT Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has an undisclosed octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The phone has a basic configuration of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage but also has 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. All of these variants support microSD cards for storage expansion.
The phone features a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor for f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and housed within the notch.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It will run One US Core 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner available on the smartphone.
The Galaxy A22 5G has been priced at INR 19,999 for the base model and if you are interested in the 8GB/128GB option, it will cost you INR 21,999. It will go on sale in July with an option to choose from Gray, Mint, and Violet color options.
