The upcoming Motorola Edge 20 series is staying in rumor mills for quite some time now but it appears the phones are now ready for their official launch. According to a new teaser poster by Motorola, the company has a new product launch event on August 5. And, going by the growing number of leaks and rumors around, we believe it to be the Motorola Edge 20.
The teaser poster presents no other details, but you can refer to some past details that leaked out. As per the reports, the Edge 20 series has three to four models and the names of Edge 20 and Edge 20 have emerged several times in the past. According to available details, the Edge 20 and the Edge 20 Pro have Full HD+OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Before the TENAA certifications, Evan Blass, one of the top tipsters shared details on the series, though without revealing the marketing name of the two. It is, however, assumed that the one with a 6.7-inch display is the Motorola Edge 20. Other specs are Snapdragon 778G processor, 6GB RAM, 256GB storage, 108MP primary sensor, 32MP front camera. The Pro model, on the other hand, is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 870 processor.
Recently, the alleged renders of the Moto Edge 20 leaked too. They came out by PriceBaba in collaboration with another known leakster OnLeaks. The render shows the Motorola Edge 20 has a flat display design. It has a hole punch cut out in the top center of the display. The back of the phone is carrying three cameras, the configurations of which are said to be a 108MP main sensor, followed by a 16MP secondary lens, and an 8MP tertiary lens.
