Samsung Galaxy A52 users already enjoying August 2021 security update

30 July 2021 0

Samsung has once again become the first OEM for feeding the latest security patch to its devices. It is the August 2021 security update that has been fed to the Galaxy A52 smartphone first. And, we are sure, Samsung will release the update to its more smartphones pretty soon just as it did with July 2021 security patch.

As per a report from SamMobile, the rollout started around July 27, way ahead of its time, as the month hasn’t started yet. So, users are already enjoying being on the latest patch.

With the release of the latest security patch, Samsung is acknowledging that it hears its consumers and knows that the lack of security support could be irksome.

As per the report, the Galaxy A52 (SM-A525F) is getting a new software update in Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. The firmware version is A525FXXU3AUG4. Samsung hasn’t mentioned which bugs have been patched with the August update, but we expect to receive more insights on the same over the next couple of weeks.

If you live in any of the aforementioned countries and use the Galaxy A52 phone then the update should reach you soon. If you want to manually check for the same, then head over to Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install.

It is expected that Samsung will push the update to more countries soon.

The Galaxy A52 is still in Samsung’s security update cycle and it will continue to receive more updates as well as three major Android OS upgrades. For your information, the device got launched with Android 11-based One UI 3.1.
