Vivo India has launched a new mid-range smartphone Vivo Y53s in the market. It is a 4G-only variant of the Vivo Y53s 5G smartphone announced about a couple of months ago. This new variant was originally revealed in Vietnam last month but is now available in India as well. The major difference between the 5G and 4G variants is in the processor and camera setup.
The Vivo Y53s sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD notched display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G80 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It is available with storage options: 128GB and 256GB. It comes with the "Extended RAM" feature where users can extend the RAM capacity using up to 3GB of virtual RAM.
The phone has triple rear cameras including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will run FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that resides within the power button.
Here is the Vivo Y53s pricing: 8GB/128GB for INR 19,490. The color options include Fantastic Rainbow and Deep Sea Blue that will be available for purchase.
