Vivo is gearing up for the launch of its next-gen Android flagship smartphone lineup. There are rumored to be three models named Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+. It will be a direct successor to the Vivo X60 series that made its global debut last year. We now have a few leaks detailing renders, specs, and features of these upcoming smartphones.
Starting with the Pro model, the Vivo X70 Pro leak is coming from tipster @OnLeaks who shared it in collaboration with 91Mobiles, an online publication. It is shown with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED curved display with a centered punch-hole and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to feature a premium build with aluminum frames.
The phone has a quad-camera setup with a triple LED flash on the back panel with a significant camera bump. It will result in an overall thickness of up to 10mm. There are no details about the camera specs yet but it does have the Zeiss branding. There is a USB Type-C port available at the bottom and it is shown in the Blue color variant.
The same smartphone also made an appearance on the Google Play Console website. The listing confirmed Full HD+ resolution for the display panel. It suggested that the processor will be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 along with 8GB of RAM. The software experience will be Vivo's custom skin based on Android 11.
In a separate leak, @OnLeaks teamed up with MySmartPrice people to share Vivo X70 details. The vanilla model is said to offer the same 6.5-inch centered punch-hole display but with no curved edges. It will have an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication purposes.
Vivo is said to have opted for a triple rear camera setup on the standard variant but the Zeiss branding is here too. It also has the triple LED flash that we talked about regarding the Pro model. Other features are pretty much similar i.e. a USB Type-C port, a huge camera bump, and Android 11. The rumored color options include Blue and Green but there could be more as well.
