It seems like with each new day, we get to hear something new about Samsung's Galaxy S21 FE launch plans. It was just yesterday that we heard the report of release getting delayed again and launch expected to happen sometime during the last quarter. Now, a fresh report from Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech claims that Galaxy S21 FE is set to launch on October 29th.
The report cites insider sources to reveal that Galaxy S21 FE pre-orders will begin October 20th. A week later i.e. October 29th is when the smartphone will become available for purchase through stores. The source did not offer any details about when Samsung might actually decide to announce it. If we have to speculate, the announcement should take place around early October but whether it will be through a launch event or simply a press release, that is another question we do not have an answer to yet.
The Galaxy S21 FE is said to arrive in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The choice of color variants will be Graphite, White, Olive Green, and Lavender. The pricing details are unknown but considering it is essentially a toned-down version of the main Galaxy S21 flagship, it should cost significantly cheaper.
As for what else to expect, the rumors have indicated a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate. The choice of processor is said to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. In the camera department, there is likely to be a 12-megapixel, 12-megapixel (ultra-wide), and an 8-megapixel telephoto triple rear camera setup, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
