After a little over a month since launching the Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Lite, the company has finally added these phones to its enterprise portfolio. It means Edge 20 Business Edition and Edge 20 Lite Business Edition smartphones are now available for purchase. These two join the Edge 20 Pro Business Edition that has been on sale since the release of standard versions.
Motorola's "Business Edition" lineup includes those smartphones that are specifically aimed at enterprise users. These are essentially the same as the standard offerings meant for general consumers but are packed with additional security features. It means you will not see any difference in the specifications of an enterprise version and the standard version of the same phone.
These variants are also part of the Google Enterprise Recommended program. It is a program designed by Google to help business and enterprise owners find perfect devices as per requirements. A device has to meet "Google’s strict enterprise requirements" to become a part of the list. These phones receive all the latest Android security patches within 90 days of their releases.
Both of these Edge 20 Business Edition offerings feature Motorola's "Zero-touch" functionality. This is a feature that allows users to log into their devices and manage them remotely. The pricing details have not been made public but these will surely cost more than standard variants. It is also worth noting that general consumers cannot purchase these phones. These are strictly meant for business owners.
