Apple's iPhone 13 launch event confirmed for September 14

08 September 2021 0

Apple has officially confirmed that it will hold its biggest launch event of the year on September 14th. It is the event where we will get to see a few product announcements including the main highlight i.e. iPhone 13 lineup. The event's tagline is "California Streaming" which makes it clear that it will be a digitally streamed event.

The launch event will kick off at 10 AM PDT on September 14th i.e. next week. It will be streamed live for everyone to see and will be accessible via Apple's official website. It can also be streamed using the Apple TV app available for a wide range of devices including smart TVs. As it has been the case with Apple so far, it is mum about what the event is for but thanks to leaks and rumors, we do have a fair bit of idea.

The main attraction among all the announcements will undoubtedly be the iPhone 13 lineup. There are tipped to be four models like the last year's launch. These will be iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Both the Pro variants are said to come with a 120Hz display panel which will be a first for an iPhone. There will be new Apple A15 Bionic chipsets, improved camera performance, and longer battery life. We may also see iPhone finally getting Always-on Display functionality.

Another major launch expected at the event is Apple Watch Series 7. The next-gen smartwatch is rumored to come with significant design changes as compared to all the models available so far. However, there are speculations that the actual availability of the wearable may get delayed than usual due to some issues. If you are waiting for new MacBook Pro and iPad models, they are also expected to launch this year but in a separate event.

The Apple iPhone 13 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
