Infinix ZERO X series with 60x periscope cameras goes official

13 September 2021 0

Inifinix Mobile, a Hong Kong-based smartphone company has launched a new ZERO X-series of phones. The series includes three phones in total – ZERO X Pro, ZERO X, and ZERO X Neo. One thing that brings these phones into the highlight is the 60x hybrid periscope moonshot camera. All of them feature the same periscope module in their triple rear camera setup, though their primary sensors differ.

The top-most ZERO X Pro features a 108MP main sensor with OIS on the back, the Zero X gets the 64MP with OIS and the Zero X Neo has the 48MP but with no OIS. The rest of the two sensors in the setup includes an 8MP periscope and 8MP ultra-wide camera. They all have a 16MP selfie camera fitted inside the hole punch on the display.

The 60x hybrid periscope moonshot camera works together with the Galileo Algorithm Engine developed by the company itself. This algorithm combines lunar expose and focus locking system to quickly adjust the focus motor and enable a clear shot of the Moon. The algorithm also enhances the quality and the overall detail using AI deep learning.

Infinix promises the ZERO X series to offer high-quality videos with 960fps super slow-motion and 4K time-lapse.

Another difference is in the display size. The X Pro and the X devices get the 6.67-inch AMOLED 120Hz Super Fluid display and the X Neo gets the 6.78-inch FHD+ Super Fluid Display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The battery capacities are also different, though not entirely.

Once again the top-most model X Pro and the vanilla X get the same specification that is 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging technology. This tech can charge the device to 40% in mere 15 minutes. The X Neo, on the other hand, gets a larger 5,000mAh battery capacity with 18W fast wired charging.

Price and availability

The ZERO X NEO will be available in three colors, Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Bahamas Blue. The ZERO X Pro will come in three colors, Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Tuscany Brown, while the ZERO X will receive two colors, Nebula Black and Starry Silver. The price of the Infinix ZERO X Pro, ZERO X, and ZERO X Neo is unknown. Also, the company didn’t disclose any availability details.
