Realme has debuted a new C-series smartphone named Realme C25Y. It is a budget-friendly offering and is aimed at those looking for an option easier on the wallet. The main highlights of the phone are the camera, a huge battery, and fast charging support. It joins the Realme C21Y launched last month.
The Realme C21Y sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a dot-like notch. Under the hood, it has an octa-core 12nm Unisoc T610 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone has 64GB and 128GB onboard storage options with support for microSD cards.
The triple camera setup on the back panel features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus. The other two cameras include a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The phone runs Realme UI based on Android 11 out of the box. The Realme C21Y is priced at INR 10,999 and INR 11,999 for 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB models respectively. It will be sold in two color options i.e Glacier Blue and Metal Gray.
