Lenovo-owned Motorola is reportedly having a new phone called the Moto E40 in the pipeline. The renowned tipster @evleaks has shared a marketing material on Twitter that highlights a bunch of key specifications of the device.
The details on the poster are written in Turkish and the translation reveals the screen size s 6.5-inch with Max Vision HD+ (720p+) resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The poster also reveals there is an octa-core processor but the name of the processor is unknown. For comparison, the Moto E20 that the company launched last week came with a Unisoc processor. It is currently unclear whether or not the Moto E40 possesses a beefier SoC.
The poster also shows the device has a triple rear camera setup and the primary sensor is 48MP. The details of the other two sensors are unknown at the moment but, an ultra-wide sensor and a depth sensor are expected to take the place as secondary and tertiary sensors.
Another key detail that can be derived easily is that the Moto E40 runs on full-fledged Android, not the Android Go Edition as the Moto E20 does. This is because Go edition phones haven’t yet picked up top-grade features like high refresh rate screen.
The specifications of the alleged Moto E40 match the likes of the Moto G20. So, presumably, we might see a Unisoc T700 chipset in the E40. Well, this is just a guess for now, we have to wait for more details to come in so as to come to some conclusions.
