Now that the ColorOS 12 public beta is out for the eligible phones, it’s time to take a look at Realme as well, because the company’s upcoming custom UI is going to pick a lot from the ColorOS 12.
VP of Realme and the CEO of Realme India Madhav Sheth has officially confirmed the release of Realme UI 3.0. In one of his latest tweets, Sheth has confirmed the Realme UI 3.0 is coming soon. The exact release date is still unknown but it looks like we will get to know about it pretty soon.

This is not the first time that Realme is making a mention of the next big upgrade of its custom UI. Last month, at Realme GT Neo 2 launch event, the company disclosed that it will announce Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 in October. This is the ongoing month, so expect the release date to be around.
Since the spin-off of Realme as an independent brand, the company’s phones have been running Realme UI, a fork of ColorOS. So, more or less, we are going to see Realme phones picking up some ColorOS 12 features via its Realme UI 3.0. Some of the suspected features that Realme UI 3.0 could pick include FlexDrop and cross-screen interconnection. Well, of course, other than some design-specific and privacy-centric features. Since the custom skin is based on Android, we can expect a few best Android 12 features as well.
Once Realme announces the release date of the Realme UI 3.0, it will also share the roadmap and list of eligible phones that will receive the upgrade.
