Up until now, you might have learned a lot about the Pixel 6 phones, well, thanks to so many leaks. But even the truckload of leaks would fail to reveal every tidbit because the major technicalities are still undercover. This is one reason why Google is conducting a Pixel-only event this time around so to uncover every possible detail that you haven’t had heard before.
But the tipsters will continue to do their job, which is to look for new details of the upcoming phones. In the same quest, one of the top tipsters has now come up with a massive leak. The prolific tipster Evan Blass has shared what seems to be promotional stuff for the Pixel 6. The bundle of images posted on Twitter by Evan includes a lot many things other than the Pixel 6 phone.
Later, Mishal Rahman from XDA Developers decoded what’s exactly inside these images, of course, other than just the real-life look at the Pixel 6 phone. These images offer a first look at the new Pixel Stand and its charging interface on the phone. We can also take a glance at the Live Space widget with a flight card as well in the leaked images.
One of the images also shows a new Pixel security app. According to Rahman, this new security app is called the “security hub.” This app is nothing but a separate or dedicated place for various security settings. But what’s interesting is, one of the images of this app on the phone confirms the Pixel 6 phones are going to support Facial recognition as well. If you take a look at the image uploaded above, you'll see that one of the options in the app is labeled “Face and Fingerprint Unlock.”
Coming to the Pixel Stand, looking at its build, it appears the stand is bulkier than the older model, possibly because it includes a built-in fan and offers 23W fast-charging support. The images also show the Pixel 6 phones will feature a new charging interface when placed on the stand.
The new interface shows a media playback tile at the top, followed by device control tiles. There are also two buttons labeled “Performance mode” and “Quiet mode.” This is something we got to know back in June when 9to5Google was able to uncover some profiles for the fans, including the ones shown in one of the leaked images of the interface. These buttons suggest that users will be able to control the Pixel Stand’s fan/wireless charging speed.
The leak shows images of the Pixel 6 phones with water droplets on them, confirming the devices will come with a water-resistance certification.
