Motorola has launched a new budget phone in its E-series. This is the new E40 smartphone which has come with three rear cameras, a hole-punch display, an octa-core SoC, and much more.
The Motorola Moto E40 features a textured back and the fingerprint scanner is also mounted on the back. The triple camera setup on the back is arranged in a strip-like fashion inside a module that is not really protruding. The configurations of these cameras include a 48MP primary sensor followed by two 2MP camera sensors, one to shoot macro shots and another is a depth sensor. On the front, the small hole-punch carries an 8MP camera for selfie and video calls.
The screen size of the Moto E40 is 6.5-inch with an HD+ display and LCD display type. The phone’s display supports a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and better animations.
The Moto E40 gets the Unisoc Tiger T700 octa-core processor that includes two fast ARM CortexA75 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six power-efficient Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.8GHz. The chipset inside the Moto E40 is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that can be expanded further using a microSD card.
Moto E40 packs a 5,000mAh battery which charges via USB-C. The phone runs Android 11 with Moto’s MyUX on the top.
The pricing details of the Moto E40 are still not out in public. It will available for purchase from October 12 on Flipkart. The phone will come in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay options.
