Realme is set to launch its first Android TV stick on October 13th in India. The device is officially named Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick which is undoubtedly a mouthful. As the name suggests, it will feature the new Google TV interface and software experience that debuted with Chromecast last year.
As the launch is just a couple of days away, Realme has set up a dedicated teaser page highlighting some of the features. The first one is obviously that the stick is powered by Google TV and is officially certified by Google. It will be the first alternative to Chromecast with Google TV and also the first stick in India to come with Google TV.
The Realme smart TV stick will come with a built-in Google Assistant. This is something that is also available with Android TV devices. It will further offer 4K video output at 60 frames per second. There is an HDMI 2.1 port and it also supports HDR10+ content but you will need a 4K HDR smart TV to utilize all these features.
The pricing details are unknown but as the launch is just around the corner, we will not have to wait for much longer.
