Vivo has unveiled the Vivo Y20T budget smartphone in India. It is the newest member of the Vivo Y-series that has proved to be quite popular in the entry-level segment. The phone comes with Extended RAM functionality which allows users to utilize some portion of the onboard storage as virtual RAM.

The Vivo Y20T sports a 6.51-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD Halo FullView display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a dewdrop notch. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. It is available in a single configuration of 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. There is also support for microSD cards to help users get more storage space. It further offers 1GB of extended RAM feature.

A triple camera setup is available on the backside. It features a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture accompanied by two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The stock camera app comes with various modes including panorama and slow-motion videos.

The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. The exact Android version is unknown but it will run Vivo's custom Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box. A fingerprint scanner can be found on the side of the phone which some users find to be more convenient to use.

Vivo has priced the Vivo Y20T at INR 15,490 for the sole 6GB/64GB variant. The color options for users are Obsidian Black and Purist Blue. The phone is already available for purchase and can be purchased via offline and online channels.
