Samsung has an event to hold on October 20, which will happen to be just a day after back-to-back events from Apple and Google on October 18 and October 19. Samsung has addressed this event as Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 but the contents of this event are unknown and it is hard to guess the context event from the vague description provided inside the invitation.
Our users are multifaceted and live life in so many colorful, interesting and unique ways. As such, the technology they use every day should reflect their individuality.
As you can see this is not a lucid explanation and it keeps the details well under the veil. But, if we have to make a vague guess, it looks like Samsung is hinting at some kind of personalization for its Galaxy devices. And, if it is really about personalization, it can be anything, starting from small customizations to system-wide personalizations.
It is interesting to see Samsung holding a special event for this purpose, though. This, however, also suggests Samsung is taking the software side of things more seriously and ready to bring more to the service of its consumers.
It is also presumed that Samsung could finally pull the cover from the much-rumored Galaxy S21 FE, but, at the same time, considering there have been so many reports on its delay already. Also, the description of the launch event would have been different from what it is now.
Furthermore, the 'part 2' in the title is pretty much indicative that something might follow Samsung's last event that happened in August this year.
Well, we aren’t too far from the said event. So, just mark your calendars and wait for Samsung to open “up new experiences for self-expression through technology.”
The Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event will be stream on Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 10 am ET/ 7 am PT on October 20th.
