Samsung launches Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke Editions

21 October 2021 0

Samsung held its Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event on October 20 where it unveiled new customizable editions of its existing products and also revealed some new software features and customization options.

Samsung unveiled the Bespoke Editions of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Watch 4 series. As the name implies, these editions will let you customize the cosmetics as per your choice, just like tailor-made things. Customers can select different color options for frames of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 to create their own unique combination.

They can mix and match available colors from the Bespoke Studio and place their order. The Studio offers a variety of color options Black or Silver, and front and back colors of Blue, Yellow, Pink, White, or Black. Overall, you get 49 color combinations to choose from. But, note that the camera island remains black no matter what options you choose.

To complement the outer experience, Samsung has also made available special UX for users. So, customers can further personalize their device with the Bespoke Edition.

Previously, Samsung gave you the option to customize the hinge cover on the Galaxy Z Fold 2. But, now it has opened a complete studio for customization and even held a separate event for the same.

Samsung touted at the event that it has "tested thousands of color options in customers’ preferences and needs and has come to this decision of bringing a separate studio for the same."

Samsung is also offering Bespoke Upgrade Care exclusively for Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition that will let users change their device’s color whenever they want to. Later on, Samsung will provide an option to buy new panels and swap out the ones that your phone came with.

Right now the Bespoke Studio serves the following markets: the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, France, and South Korea. Samsung plans to expand that list later on.

The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Classic also join the Bespoke experience, which simply means users can choose a compatible band with their chosen model and size.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 Bespoke Edition starts at $1,100 – that’s just $50 more than the regular price of the 256 GB model. There is no 128GB option for the Bespoke Edition. The purchase comes with 12 months of Samsung Care+ protection. You can also get up to $600 of trade-in credit.

You can go to Samsung.com and start customizing the Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition if you want to buy one.
