After launching the Oppo A54 and Oppo A54 5G smartphones earlier this year, Oppo has added a new third version called Oppo A54s. It is largely similar to the previous two models but there are a few differences here and there. It is an entry-level smartphone so do not expect to see anything fancy.
The Oppo A54s sports a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a dot-like notch. It does not offer a high refresh rate panel like the 5G variant. Under the hood, it features a MediaTek Helio G35 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The onboard storage capacity is currently unknown but we will update as soon as it is shared publically.
There is a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture housed within the notch.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000 battery with support for 10W fast charging. On the software front, it will be running ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Oppo A54s has been priced at EUR 229. It will be sold in two color options: Crystal Black and Pearl Blue.
