TCL is one of those brands that does not get a lot of coverage but are known for releasing phones that are worth consideration, especially in the entry-level segment. It has now added two new products to the catalog: TCL X20 SE and TCL 20A 5G. Both of these phones come with triple rear cameras and boot Android 11 out of the box.
The TCL X20 SE sports a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB onboard storage which makes it the only configuration option available for buyers. There is also microSD card support for storage expansion purposes.
The phone has a triple camera setup headlined by 13-megapixel primary camera. The other two cameras include a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth. The front camera on the phone is a 5-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh and is supported by 18W fast charging. Other features include a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth v5.0, and 4G VoLTE connectivity. TCL has priced the X20 SE at $120 for the sole 3GB/32GB model.
The special thing about the TCL 20A 5G is that it brings 5G connectivity to the budget segment. If you are someone who wants to try out the new 5G network but does not want to spend a lot, this phone might be worth looking at.
