Asus has launched a new detachable Vivobook notebook named Vivobook 13 Slate. The USP of the notebook is that it has a physical keyboard that can be detached as and when needed. It further has dual cameras and an OLED display for a premium visual experience for a price that makes it quite affordable.
The Vivobook 13 Slate sports a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) OLED display with touchscreen input support. It offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 550 nits peak brightness, 0.2ms response time, VESA certified display HDR True Black 500, and SGS eye care, and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor with Intel UHD graphics.
The notebook is available with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB SSD storage space. The connectivity options include dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, one 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card reader, Bluetooth 5.2, and WiFi 6. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It supports Asus Pen 2.0 stylus that itself has Bluetooth support, a one-click function, and four user-swappable pen tips.
It is packed with a 50WHrs 3-cell Li-ion battery and a USB Type-C charging port. The notebook is bundled with a 65W adapter that should charge it pretty quickly. It will be available in Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Home in S Mode variants. There is a single Black color option. The Vivobook 13 Slate is priced at $599.99 for the base model.
