Twitter is testing a new feature that will make it easier to search through a user profile's tweets. It has added a dedicated search bar at the top of each user profile. This feature is under testing and is currently accessible only for iOS users. It will expand to Android devices as well but there is no timeline for that yet.
The first step is to visit any user profile and you will see a search icon in the top right corner. Tapping on the icon will open a search bar where you need to enter the search query. It will then show you all tweets containing the particular term and shared by that user. This is a good way of finding particular tweets from a particular user.
This is pretty much how the new search functionality works. This is exactly similar to the universal search on Twitter. As we said in the beginning, the dedicated search bar for user profiles is simply a way to make it convenient to find tweets of specific users. The feature is in testing which means not everyone will have access to it yet.
