Poco has officially introduced the Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphone at a virtual launch event. It is the company's last product announcement for 2021 and as speculated, it is simply a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G. The only major difference is that there are new paint jobs, a big Poco branding on the camera module, and a different software UI.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with punch-hole and 90Hz refresh rate. It is packed with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both variants feature expandable storage where up to 1TB microSD cards can be used.
There is simply a dual rear camera module featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture and housed within the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will ship with MIUI 12.5 for Poco based on Android 11. The color options include Power Black, Poco Yellow, and Cool Blue. The Poco M4 Pro 5G is priced at EUR 229 and EUR 249 respectively for the aforementioned two variants. It will go on sale starting November 11th.
