Samsung has introduced two new budget 5G smartphones Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A03s in the United States. The first one is a completely new device and is touted to be the most affordable Galaxy A-series 5G smartphone. As for the second one, it is a phone that has already debuted in India and is now making its way to the western market.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone is available with 64GB onboard storage along with microSD card support of up to 1TB.

The phone has a vertically aligned triple camera setup on the back panel. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone will boot Android 11 out of the box. Other important features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Samsung Pay, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker. The Galaxy A13 5G is priced at $249.99 in the United States. It will go on sale starting December 3rd via AT&T. If you are a T-Mobile customer, the phone will become available for purchase in January 2022.
