Samsung has begun the process of releasing the latest One UI 4.0 to its 2019 Android flagship series Galaxy S10. These include all the models i.e. Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e. The development team has started recruiting beta testers for the new software build but only in South Korea for the time being.
The processing joining the One UI 4.0 beta for Galaxy S10 is the same as it has been for other models. There is a beta recruitment banner visible on the Samsung Members application. Tapping on this banner will take them to an application form that needs to be filled and submitted. If you are selected, your device will automatically receive the beta build as a software update.
There are currently no words on the expansion of the Galaxy S10 beta program to other markets. It is safe to assume that users from other major markets like the United States and India will receive the beta build sooner than later. We will keep you posted as and when Samsung will expand to other regions.
One UI 4.0 is the latest iteration of Samsung's custom Android skin and is based on Android 12. It was first announced about a couple of months ago. It began beta testing with the Galaxy S21 series as it is the latest flagship lineup from the company. The new version has since made its way to the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 devices, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3.
