Xiaomi has officially announced the 11 Youth Vitality Edition in China. It is another 5G mid-range from the company and is inspired by the 11 Lite 5G NE released about a couple of months ago. The two phones share the majority of the specifications but do differ in a few aspects.
The Xiaomi 11 Youth Vitality Edition sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, 10-bit color depth, DCI-P3 color gamut, 100% sRGB gamut, and 800 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G coupled with 8GB of RAM. The onboard storage options include 128G and 256GB along with microSD card support.
The back panel offers a triple camera setup including a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel telemacro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The punch-hole on the front houses a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The whole package is powered by a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, NFC, IP53 rating, and dual speakers. On the software front, it will boot MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The available color options include Bubblegum Blue, Peach Pink, Snowflake White, and Truffle Black.
Xiaomi has priced the Xiaomi 11 Youth Vitality Edition at CNY 1,999 (about $315) for the 8GB/128GB model and at CNY 2,299 (about $345) for the 8GB/256GB model. The available color options include White, Black, Pink, and Blue. It will go on sale starting December 11th in China.
