As we are barely months away from the next-gen OnePlus flagship launch, there has been an increase in the frequency of leaks and reports. The latest leak is coming from Weibo-based reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. It talks about the OnePlus 10 series specifications with a special focus on the charging speed.
It is claimed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will arrive with an 80W fast charging speed. It was previously rumored to be 120W but either those were incorrect or were based on early-stage plans. Nevertheless, the newly reported charging speed is still considerably faster than 65W support on the OnePlus 9 Pro. It is unknown whether the standard OnePlus 10 will also have 80W fast charging or it will settle for a slower one. The wireless charging speed is tipped to be around 50W.
OnePlus is further said to be not making any major changes in the rest of the specifications. The OnePlus 10 Pro is rumored to have the same 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED punch-hole display with 120Hz refresh rate as the predecessor. The triple rear camera will also be unchanged i.e. a 50-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. The telephoto sensor will offer up to 3X optical zoom. The front camera on the phone will be a 32-megapixel shooter.
The flagship will run Android 12 making it the first OnePlus to boot the latest Android version out of the box. It will feature the custom skin which is a result of OnePlus' OxygenOS and Oppo's ColorOS merger. The launch timeline for the OnePlus 10 series is commonly rumored to be Q1 2022.
