Original (December 22nd, 2021)
About half a year ago, Motorola launched a new G-series smartphone that also had a stylus pen. It is called Moto G Stylus 5G and now, the first leak has appeared claiming that a successor is under works. This new phone is allegedly called Moto G Stylus (2022) and the leak is coming from tipster @OnLeaks in collaboration with Prepp.
As per leaked Moto G Stylus (2022) renders, the upcoming smartphone has a centered punch-hole. This is different from the current-gen product which also has a punch-hole but in the top left corner. The rear camera module is now oval-shaped as compared to being a squared one. The number of camera sensors has also been reduced from four to three.
The phone is tipped to sport a huge 6.81-inch flat display, the same as the Moto G Stylus 5G. It is claimed to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Other rumored specs include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 4,500mAh battery, and a USB Type-C port.
The exact launch date is unknown but Motorola is expected to launch the Moto G Stylus (2022) sometime during mid-June of the next year. The pricing of the smartphone is tipped to somewhere around $500.
