In an attempt to create buzz around the upcoming Realme GT 2 series, Realme has started sharing little hints about what to expect. It recently talked about three world's first innovations that will be seen in the lineup. One of these innovations is related to the product design and now, Realme has shared official renders showing what the phone actually looks like.
The Realme GT 2 Pro will arrive with a new design language called Paper Tech Master Design. The back panel build comprises a bio-polymer material by SABIC and the design is inspired by paper. It is the brainchild of a collaboration between Realme and Naoto Fukasawa, a renowned Japanese industrial designer. You can have a good look at this new paper-inspired design in official renders and as you can see, it does look pleasant.
As you may have noticed, the overall back panel and camera module design in official renders are completely different from the leaked renders that we saw about a couple of weeks ago. Those renders show a design similar to the Google Nexus 6P. The tipster @OnLeaks has now clarified that official renders show the Realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition and his leaked renders are of a variant focused on the camera performance. In other words, these are two different smartphones that belong to the same Realme GT 2 series.
Following @vogue_italia post regarding the #RealmeGT2Pro Series, some ppl think the renders I shared few weeks ago are wrong. Yeah...🤣— Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) December 22, 2021
FYI, the device shown by @voguemagazine actually is the "Master Edition" while mine is a different and camera performances focused variant...😏 pic.twitter.com/15gzyWtOiT
We do know that the Realme GT 2 Pro will have the world's first ultrawide-angle camera with a 150-degree field of view. This variant might be one that we saw in leaked images. Nevertheless, the Realme GT 2 series will launch on January 4th and we should get answers to all these questions.
