Oppo has launched the newest K9-series smartphone Oppo K9x in China. It is the fourth member and joins existing devices i.e. Oppo K9 5G, Oppo K9 Pro, and Oppo K9s. It is a budget mid-range phone and only the second model in the lineup with a MediaTek Dimensity processor.
The Oppo K9x sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. It is available with 128GB and 256GB onboard storage options along with microSD card support.
The triple rear camera setup on the phone features a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone includes a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will be running ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
Other important features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Oppo K9x will be available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB configuration variants. The color options are Black, Silver, and Purple. There are no words on the pricing details yet.
