When it comes to the budget segment, Oppo A-series is one of the best-selling lineups. It has now received a new member called Oppo A11s which is an entry-level smartphone. The phone is official in China and is primarily aimed at delivering a long-lasting battery life.
The Oppo A11s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a punch-hole in the top left corner with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The onboard storage options include 64GB and 128GB along with microSD card supports.
On the back, there is a triple camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The battery capacity on the phone is 5,000mAh and is supported by 18W fast charging. Unfortunately, the phone will boot ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 which is pretty old software as Android 12 is already out. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back too.
Oppo has priced the Oppo A11s at CNY 999 for the 4GB/64GB (about $156) base model and at CNY 1,199 for the 8GB/128GB (about $188) model. The phone is available in Black and White color options.
