29 December 2021 0

Xiaomi has officially launched its new smartwatch named Xiaomi Watch S1. It has also taken wraps off new pair of TWS earphones Buds 3 and a new Buds 3 Pro color option. These announcements were made at the same event where we saw the debut of the Xiaomi 12 smartphone series.

The Xiaomi Watch S1 has a circular dial and looks like a traditional watch. It features a stainless steel frame with sapphire glass and a leather wristband. There is a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with touchscreen input support. The smartwatch has two physical buttons and up to 117 different fitness modes. It also has 5ATM water resistance so that you can wear it even during swimming sessions.

It is claimed to deliver up to 12 days of battery life under regular usage and up to 24 days of standby time through its 470mAh battery. The smartwatch has a heart-rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, and NFC for quick payments. Xiaomi has priced the Watch S1 at CNY 1,049 (about $165) and at CNY 1,199 (about $175) for rubber wristband and leather strap models respectively.

If we talk about the Xiaomi Buds 3, it features a dual-magnetic dynamic driver and Hi-Fi audio. The earbuds offer three different ANC modes and up to 40dB noise cancellation. The company claims a battery life of up to 7 hours of music playback and up to 32 hours of usage through the charging case. The Buds 3 are priced at CNY 449 (about $70) and at the same time, Xiaomi has debuted Buds 3 Pro in Blue color for a new year discounted price of CNY 649 (about $102).
