Vivo has launched a new budget mid-range phone Vivo Y21T in Indonesia. The main highlight of the device is its triple camera setup and big battery capacity. There is also support for fast charging speed that should help users get a refuel quickly. There is also support for virtual RAM where some portion of onboard storage is used for RAM purposes.
The Vivo Y21T sports a 6.51-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and coupled with 6GB of RAM. The virtual RAM feature can add up to 2GB of additional RAM that will take the overall capacity to 8GB. The storage space is 128GB along with microSD card support of up to 1TB.
The phone has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture housed within the notch.
The battery capacity on the device is 5,000mAh and supports 18W fast charging. The phone will boot Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box. Other features include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint scanner. Vivo has priced the Vivo Y21T at IDR 3,099,000 for the only configuration of 6GB/128GB. The phone will be sold in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color options.
